National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of India, Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health, Government of Maharashtra and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) are organizing this conference.

The conference will provide a platform for exchange of information and technical know-how to the Indian chemical, petroleum, petroleum products, natural gas and exploration/production industry. Discussions will focus on ways to reduce on-site accidents as well as to manage oil spills to minimize their effects on environment.

Participants from various industries can share their experience and success stories in safely managing exploration, production operations by utilizing best management practices, technology and expertise for bringing down instances of grave Off-Site emergencies which may seriously impact on surrounding environmental conditions besides bringing in untold miseries in the neighbourhood.
