CIDM -2010 shall be organized from February15-16 2010 at Mumbai, jointly with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF),Petroleum Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), FICCI and large number of National and International accredited organizations, UN Agencies, Knowledge & Media Partner institutions. This International conference, as a sequel of CIDM-2009 shall provide a platform for exchange of knowledge and technical know-how to global chemical industry. This would help in reducing menace of chemicals triggering industrial incidences and also providing support to minimization of other disasters like terrorist attacks, chemical terrorism, sabotage, Chemical warfare activities etc., through cascading impacts of hazardous chemicals.

Primary objective of the Conference is to make industry safe, so that traumatic impacts of chemical disasters are left behind and the dreaded chemicals are either substituted or tamed down. The conference proposes to adopt a very profound approach and focus globally on Public-Private-Partnership in a holistic manner so that chemical safety is put on safest platter through sharing global experiences, technologies and best management practices.

This prestigious conference will have participants from various industrial and allied sectors to compare and emulate their existing chemical safety and security network with best practices in technology and management as observed elsewhere in the world.
